Grayscale to Color Image Processing

Following the photographic journey of Sergei Prokudin-Gorskii who documented the Russian Empire in the early 1900s, three black-and-white photographs each taken with a different color filter are composited into a single image. Unlike Sergei who projected all three images on top of each other, our assignment was to use different algorithms to find the best match for aligning them together.
